"...with vivid imagery, a well-placed pause, and just the right dose of southern charm, Ellouise masterfully draws listeners into her delightful world."

Lots of Stories, Varied Venues
Fresh off the National Storytelling Festival's 2009 Exchange Place stage, Ellouise has been a professional storyteller for nearly twenty years, telling stories to people of all ages in venues as large at the Exchange Place's 1000-plus seat tent and as intimate as a local bookseller's story salon.
A Maryland resident, Ellouise travels nationally to perform storytelling programs at colleges, schools, libraries and festivals.
Locally, in addition to her performances, Ellouise produces the Kensington Row Story Salon (Kensington, MD), a monthly storytelling series that celebrates adult storytelling. Now in its fourth season, the popular program combines features tellers and an open microphone opportunity for others.
Ellouise also continues her two television shows, both broadcast on Channel 16 (Montgromery County, MD).

- Stories in Time: Ellouise is the sole featured teller.
- Stories in Focus: Ellouise is the interviewed-host for this show where invited storyteller guests tell stories and share insight into storytelling's growing inclusion into other disciplines, such as the care of the elderly.
